As with all products in my collection, they are made from locally sourced Green Oak which will warp and change over the years, whether scrubbed or polished.

When left to its own devices, be it exposed to the variants of the weather or internal climatic changes within the home, no two pieces will ever be alike and can be carved or left plain.

Based upon the principles of insulation, this solid walled Green Oak box is traditionally built and made to keep twelve bottles of wine cool against the summer's sun. Rope handles aid easy movement and the closely fitting, easy to lift lid is. Perfect for garden picnics or outdoor storage and doubles up as an extra seat at the table.
